The people behind the practice.

Filip and Aleksandar Savić

Alpheus was founded by Aleksandar and Filip Savić — twin brothers, software engineers, and the kind of people who get genuinely annoyed when a capable organisation runs slower than it should.

Their paths through the same degree diverged early. Filip pursued a Master of Science in engineering (Electronic Businesses program), building a formal foundation in how technology and business strategy intersect. Aleksandar went wide — freelancing across industries and company sizes, developing a feel for how different organisations are wired and where they tend to break down.

That combination — depth and breadth, academic rigour and field experience — is what Alpheus is built on. The practice came out of two years of working closer to the business layer: not just building systems, but understanding why the wrong ones get built in the first place.

The name is deliberate. Alpheus is the river-god that Hercules redirected to clean the Augean stables in a single day — a task considered impossible until someone thought about it differently. Not brute force. Not a complete overhaul. Just a precise intervention that used what was already there.
